Prevention education is the key to ending child abuse!

Now more than ever, it is important that we come together as a community to support families and empower each other to recognize and react responsibly to child abuse and neglect.

You are invited to attend a FREE virtual training to help protect the children in your life.

Keeping Children Safe Online

Thursday, April 16th, 3-4pm

The COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing has created a “new normal” for many of us whose work, school, and social lives have transitioned to being online. For parents and other adults, this can cause concern for the digital safety of our children. This training educates and empowers adults to keep children safe in the digital age.

Recognizing and Responding to Child Abuse & Neglect

Tuesday, April 21st, 5-6pm

This interactive training teaches how to prevent, recognize and respond to all four types of child abuse: physical, emotional and sexual abuse, and neglect. Handling disclosures and situations of suspicions of abuse are addressed in detail. We will also provide specific prevention strategies for protecting children in times of crisis or unusual circumstances such as what we are experiencing now with the COVID-19 global pandemic.
