Third Grade Tiger Families:

Based on the Kinder-3rd Grade Exception (through the Oregon Department of Education), we are excited to announce our 3rd graders will be coming back to school in person through a Hybrid Model starting Monday, November 9th and Tuesday, November 10th! In an effort to prepare, we want to make you aware of the schooling options for Third Grade that you will have once hybrid begins.

• Students in our hybrid model will receive 2 days of in-person instruction at Taft Elementary and 2 days of live instruction at home via Zoom.
• We will also have a Virtual option. Students in the Virtual option will not come to Taft Elementary, but will receive 4 days of live instruction via Zoom. All instruction will continue to be provided by our third grade team.
• Wednesday will continue to be a day for video instruction and assignments through Google Classroom.
• Edmentum is still an option for those enrolled in the program.

There will be an informational meeting on Monday, November 2nd from 5-6pm in English and 6-7pm in Spanish.  We recommend ALL third grade families come to the meeting to learn more.
