Welcome to Hybrid!

3rd Grade Hybrid is here! In an effort to prepare, we want to make you aware of the process for schooling once hybrid begins.

Students in our hybrid model will receive 2 days of in-person instruction at Taft Elementary and 2 days of live instruction at home via Zoom. If you choose to not have your student come to school, Edmentum remains available as an online option. As Edmentum is designed around terms, the next time you can transition to the online program is 11-23. Call the school and we can walk you through the process.

We had a parent meeting on 11/2 to discuss the process of Hybrid and what this means for families and students. Here are the links to the video recordings and the presentation.

Transportation

We are no longer able to make daily bus changes for your child. Bus changes are restricted at this time in an effort to maintain safety and cohorting. In the unlikely event that a permanent change has to be made, allow up to one week to implement the service. Any child who does not follow their planned bus ride will be removed from the route after 2 weeks.

We are able to make a temporary change for a student from buser to car rider. These changes must be in writing and received no later than 11:00 a.m. daily. You can email our office at tafteloffice@lincoln.k12.or.us We also suggest following up with a phone call 541-9962136.
