Your student will come home with a School Store lanyard. The lanyard will be used to collect invitations sent out to family and friends.

Hello Taft Elementary Families!
We are so excited with the upgrades the city has completed for our road and drop-off lane! The re-design includes a sidewalk that separates High School Drive from our drop-off/pick-up lane. The lane will be one-way, headed north only and include a parking lane directly across from our front entrance.
For safety, students should not be dropped off or picked up in the south bound lane, there is not a crosswalk or a place to pull off on that side of the street.
The lane directly in front of the main entrance is a quick flow - all cars pull in, unload/load and then exit for the next group of cars to pull forward. There are two other areas for a slower drop-off experience:
1. Parents may park on High School Drive along the sidewalk north of our school building adjacent to our parking lot.
2. Parents may also use the parking lot on the north end of the football field - parents may turn in and out from this north parking lot in any direction.

If your child requires medication during the school day, you may now drop it off at the Taft Elementary School office.
We strongly recommend bringing medications before the first day of school to help avoid long lines and delays.
🏥 Our Health Assistant will be available in the office on:
